Ebay Baby

Alright so you've all heard about EBAY! One of the best places to find brand new things for cheap. Here recently i've become addicted to ebay. I find myself thinking of things i want, and then looking it up on ebay and actually buying it. It's so great! One disadvantage to ebay is that once you start buying things, you just cant stop. I've been wanting a new phone really bad because the one i have, everybody has. So i was looking at all the sweet phones verizon has to offer and i really fell in love with the samsung Glyde. In the stores its about $350.00. On ebay its about $200.00. And yes i am buying it on ebay. Why would i pay $350.00 for the phone when i can get it BRAND NEW for $150.00 less? However another disadvantage to ebay is that you have to pay for shipping. Which is still less than the brand new phone at Verizon. Over a months time i have bought a Nintendo DS, 6 games, A Legend of Zelda gamecube game for my boyfriend, and one phone (the voyager.) On all the stuff that i have bought, i have spent less on ALL of it than i would have in stores including shipping. Now i bet your thinking that i'm crazy but i must tell you ebay is the best way to go for buying brand new things at a low low cost. For example the voyager that i just purchased last night. I bought it for $275. In stores it is $400.00. Another example is the Nintendo Ds i bought it for $120.00 with a game, in stores its $180.00 with no game. TAKE THAT ALL YOU NON-EBAY BUYERS! =) Make fun of me all you want too, but i'm getting all the popular cool new things that all you want for a lot cheaper than any of you non-ebayer's will ever get them for.

To join ebay you must be 18 years old and it requires either a credit card, or a debit card. Ebay is 100% trustworthy. If you are worried about your credit card number being stolen, have no worries paypal is here (100% safe and 100% privacy protected!) Join now and get all the cool new stuff you want for cheap and quick. =) Click here to start shopping

My trip to GCC

Here recently I've been going to Gennesse Community College with my boyfriend every Monday night from 6pm to 10pm. I normally sit in the cafeteria and work on Josh's laptop. While I' m there, a lot people walk by me , and then occasionally you see these people that think that they are so cool because they can BLARE their music as high as they want because guess what? It's college! Going to college with Joshua every Monday and sometimes other days opens my eyes up to many different people and how college is really going to be. Even though i do not go to class there, it still gives me experience. Let me tell you a little about college (for those of you that are seniors and are kind of wondering what it is like.) College is a lot different from high school. You don't have people telling you what you can and cannot do, teachers are not on your back to study and do homework (if you do it fine, and if you don't fine) teachers really don't care about you because either way their getting paid. [It really is like what high school teachers preach about, however there are a few things that they are wrong about.] Not all colleges are party city, some teachers put notes on the board, and a few don't give a lot of homework.
There are MANY things that are different things about college then high school. For instance the internet. There's no blocked websites, you can go on myspace, facebook, and play any game that you want. They don't care! Another thing that is different is that teachers will let you out of their class early, there not made to make you stay in class for a specific amount of time. Now your probably wondering, how does she know all of this, she doesn't go to college?!? Well my friends, it pays to have a boyfriend in college, and its an added bonus when you live with him too. So I hear all the stories about college, so I know! LOL. Something else that is different, is that you ARE allowed to take your own personalized laptop into school with you.
Sometimes you may hear at college people are more mature. Well, in some cases yes, in most no. While I'm sitting in the cafeteria there is this group of girls and sometimes a few different bo
ys but mainly the four girls that sit at the same table every time I'm there. They run around and throw stuff at each other, say cuss words in every sentence, talk about smoking and drinking and are SO loud you can hear them at the other end of the cafeteria. Mind you, the cafeteria is HUGE and you can still hear them. They run at every boy in the cafeteria, and get this, they have some man write their papers for them. Thats right, some weird old creepy dude with long hair sits at the table next to them and writes their papers for them. They give him the books and tell him what they need and he writes the paper for them!!!! It sounds crazy but its sickly true. Other than that GCC is pretty cool. There are some nice people there, and most are there to actually study and not goof off but there are the occassional few who don't give a flip.
Are you thinking about going to GCC? Well, since it is a community college it is only a 2 year degree. If you are going for something more you will have to get your 2 year degree there and then transfer out. They offer just about everything that you would need for any degree that you are going into. Let me paint a visual picture for you because i couldn't find any pictures online to show you in the inside of GCC. The Cafeteria is huge, along the right hand side of the cafeteria there is like 6 coke(pop) machines plus a coffee machine. There is tables galore and tvs and computers. Off to the right there is a student lounge where u can play pool, or play table tennis. The library is huge with computers and personal little stations where you can set up and get on you laptop, there also tables for you do studies on. There are about 3 floors to the whole college, and a pretty big gym. Theres a computer lab, and many more things that I probably haven't seen yet.
Over all the whole college thing is pretty cool. If you're really considering going to a commu
nity college i would suggest going to GCC. The atmosphere is nice and the people are nice.

MTV Reality

About a month ago MTV had this new reality show on that featured myspace's superstar Tila Tequila. On the show it had both male and female contestants. Tila Tequila had come out to the world that she was bisexual. On the show it had some very inappropriate things for tv, like girls making out. Since when was MTV allowing that? A year ago they would have blurred it out!!! Now they are actually showing this? Even though they showed girls making out, and guys and girls fighting over Tila, and games that were played between the two sex's i had to watch it. I even found myself rooting for a girl to win. (wow!) A year ago they would not have even begun to think about showing that kind of stuff on tv. They probably would have gotten sued for inappropriate material. Even though i didn't like seeing the girl on girl action or the weird games that they played, this reality show kept my attention for about an hour every Tuesday night. What has this world come to? Now we're watching this kind of crap? It's about all we got now on tv. Mostly everything that we see now days is provocative and suggestive. I can't even watch mtv while I'm babysitting my next door neighbor who is 10 going on 15, it just isn't appropriate. Being a Christian i shouldn't let myself watch this but i found it hard to not watch it, and to NOT talk about the next week episodes to my friends at school. A shot at love isn't the only show I've caught myself watching.

The gauntlet 3 kept my attention after Tila Tequila ended. Alright, so I've always been a sucker for The Real World, and the Road Rules, and then the games they play like the Gauntlet. But i must say, this years Gauntlet had to be the worst out of all the rest of them! The show featured The Rookies vs The Veteran's who kicked butt all through the game but at the end lost because one of their team members quit. This season had a lot of hook ups with other cast members, and even a gay and lesbian couple got together. ALRIGHT... so my question is, why all of a sudden is MTV and VH1 focusing on gay and lesbians? I have nothing wrong with them, none at all, but I'm finding it somewhat offensive when everything you watch is lesbian and gay. Now, I've been watching The Real World since i was about 13 and yes they usually have the one gay guy but th
ey don't normally show him macking down on some dude!!! Over the years it's progressively gotten worse, making this year the worst. Last week there was a spring break party with Tila Tequila that showed girls making out, and guys talking about sex, and talking about things that should NOT be talked about on tv. I don't think that what they are showing on tv is appropriate, and realistic. What happened to the music videos they used to play continuously every day all day? I'm not saying that everything that MTV plays is all bad, but most has gotten raunchy and vulgar. However, i do find myself watching these tv shows because they keep me entertained, and this is exactly what MTV wants. Theres one good thing about MTV! The Hills. Ah, yes the best show around. Lauren Conrad, the girl from Laguna Beach now lives in LA battling friendships, unsuccessful relationships and vogue drama. I must say that this show has got me hooked. But its only got me hooked for one more season, this new one being the last(tragedy!). The Hills is among the only shows that doesn't show lesbians and gays, or girl on girl action, or guy on guy action, no drug references or sex references. I wouldn't recommended this show for people that are not mature though. However, this one of the better shows that MTV offers. I know if you're reading this you are probably thinking that I'm totally whack and that i must be some kind of MTV Nazi, but in reality i love MTV and i would love it even better if they would just change some of their material that they played. Even my boyfriend who is in college, and not that "Oh i hate lesbian action or sex" thinks that MTV has gone too far. And he's right. MTV has gone too far with the material that they are showing. They have also gone TOO far with the reality shows. They should take it down a notch and stop playing the dating shows, and that annoying dance show. If they played more of Americas Next Top Model, The Hills, Laguna Beach, The Real World, The Road Rules, and Music videos i would love MTV even more and i wouldn't be writing this blog for school about how corruptive MTV has gotten.
